The Banksia Nut Chop Cups

The Banksia Nut originates from Australia, but has long been used by Wood Turners to create unusual and interesting exhibits…We first used The Banksia Nut in 2005, creating a set of Cups & Balls using this highly original style of ‘turning’…When the Nut is turned the large seeds fall away, leaving holes across the surface of the turned nut, we fill these holes with Gold Resin to create this modern and unusual design…we were asked if we could create some more of these distinctive cups so here we have a selection of Chop Cups for those of you who prefer something a little out of the ordinary!

The Banksia Chop Cup is presented in our Signature Red Corduroy Bag & comes with a set of Balls to complete the Issue..
